Here is a collection of themes compatible with Windows Vista. Learn how to install theme here. Many themes only work on a specific operating system, architeture, and service pack. i.e. Vista SP2 x86. Please read the instructions for each theme very carefully.

Hal 9000 Desktop Theme

All the cursors, icons, sounds, wallpaper, and logo files were specifically created for this theme package. It's the closest thing to having the 'HAL 9000' right on your desktop. (Wouldn't that be great!) Cons: The exit windows sound file may be a little long for some users. Overall: As the author put it. HAL 9000 Desktop Theme was filed under the Movies TV and Comics category and was reviewed in softlookup.com and receive 5/5 Score. HAL 9000 Desktop Theme has been tested by our team against viruses, spyware, adware, trojan, backdoors and was found to be 100% clean. Advanced, full-screen, flat (and other) versions of the HAL Project screensaver, version 4.0, ported to Wallpaper Engine. Once available at this screensaver has since faded into obscurity. I still had it lying around on my hard drive and decided I wanted to use it as a wallpaper instead of a screensaver, so I ported. The fan base is very large. If you are one of Halo fan, this Halo Windows Theme should be on your desktop. Halo Theme consist of 40+ HD wallpapers sourced from different Halo games. Included wallpapers are carefully selected from 13 games in Halo series. All are in high resolution so there should be no problem adapting to any monitor size.
