- Brother printer DCP-J125 has printed several pages; went to print new docs; printer reads 'unable to print 4F'. I have reconnected ports, checked for paper caught, renewed paper.
- This method is not working with DCP-J125 coz DCPj125 doesnot have set bottion. My problem start when i start update the firmware of printer(all in one printer scanner and copier) n suddnly power gone. N after the restoring the power my printer is not working, even my on/off button is also not working. And Only LCD displayed some black and white vertical lines and nothing, not a single.
- If 'Unable to Print 4F' has cleared, go to step 11. Unplug the machine from the power outlet for approximately one-minute, then plug it back in. If 'Unable to Print 4F' still on the display, go to step 12. If 'Unable to Print 4F' has cleared, go to step 11. Print a Print Quality Check Sheet (PQCS). Press on the Touchscreen.

Kept getting a 'Unable to Print see Maintainace and Troubleshooting Guide' message.Only thing to do was clean the platen(?). Not the easiest part to find. They should make it another color.. Finally called Brother..Went through the 'key in blah,blah, and blah' bit. LCD Flashed error code 4F. Guy on the helpline didn't know what it meant(!!). Gave me an area repair shop. I'd like to know the code meaning so I can(if need be)make sure that the shop doesn't try to rip me off(repair est./self-repair instruc. would be nice from here, too). Thanks!
